Cyberpunk TCG Beta Event Guide
Hello, and welcome to Cyberpunk Meta. My name is Zinisco and I’m a long time fan of card games and video games. Ever since I was young, I’ve competitively played games like Yu-Gi-Oh, Cardfight: Vangaurd, Hearthstone, Lorcana, Magic the Gathering, and many others.
Like many other players. I’ve always been a huge fan of Cyberpunk ever since 2077 came out. I fell in love with with characters, the story, the world, and everything it had to offer. So, you know I must’ve been excited when they announced a card game for it. Now making a full blown fan website and deck builder.
If you’ve not heard, many local game stores will be hosting a beta event for the game starting this month. On the official website, you can find stores around you using their event finder to attend and participate in a tournament style limited draft.
The way beta event kits work for this event are as followed. You will receive a pack of 3 random legends and 6 beta event packs, each pack holding 12 cards. You will also receive a set of dice to play the game and a promo card of Mantis Blades.
If you are like me and you have found this website, then you must be looking to have a competitive edge over your opponent. I don't know know about you, but when I pick my cards stats are going to be the name of the game. But also you're going to need enough sellable cards as well. I like to go for a 50/50 or more for my split. In the beta event we only need 30 cards to make our deck, but we also need to choose what colors our deck will use. RAM won't matter here so we are free to choose anything we want as long its not the color we won't include.
When choosing your colors it will all depend on what colors you see the least in your pulls. Since there are only 4 colors this will be easy to spot in the 72 cards we will crack open from our 6 packs of 12 cards. The weakest color of your pulls should just get excluded unless you pull cards you really want to use. When picking colors, one thing to note is gig manipulation will be something that will be difficult to build a deck around. Same with card tag synergies. For example, it will be difficult to make an Arasaka or Ganger deck.

Cheap gear is super strong. Do not underestimate it. Overwatch is a tad too expensive and situational for my liking. Sandevistan is the strongest out there.
